The electrician arrived today to connect the power to the boiler, actually a tradesman who came when he said he would, and was very affable, his fee was more than reasonable. We are so remote here difficult to get people.

Have just made a lid for my mash tun, an effort to retain some of the heat that escapes in this very cold climate. Many commercial distilleries in Scotland used wooden mash tuns ofter made from Larch(A type of pine apparently)
